The Story

Invention as a discipline, not a hobby.

Mitchell Innovations was built on a simple premise: good ideas are everywhere, but most of them never get developed past the initial spark. The goal here is different — to take original concepts seriously enough to document them, stress-test them, and bring them to a point where a real commercial conversation is possible.

The portfolio spans multiple industries — not because of a lack of focus, but because interesting problems don't limit themselves to one category. Consumer products, technology, industrial applications — each concept started with a genuine observation about something that could be done better.

None of these ideas have been commercialized yet. That's the honest truth — and it's also the opportunity. The right partner gets in early, with full access to the concept and a flexible deal structure that works for both sides.

How We Operate

The Principles Behind the Portfolio

Ideas First

Every concept starts with a real problem worth solving — not a solution looking for a problem. The question is always: does this make something meaningfully better?

Documented & Developed

An idea on a napkin is just a thought. Every concept in the portfolio has been developed into documented, workable form — ready for a serious commercial conversation.

No Single Vertical

Good ideas don't respect industry boundaries. The portfolio spans consumer, technology, and industrial — because the best opportunities often come from unexpected places.

Honest About Where We Are

No commercialized products yet. No track record of closed deals. Just a portfolio of original concepts and a genuine interest in finding the right partner for each one.

The Approach

How an Idea Becomes a Concept

01

Identify a real problem

Every concept starts with observation — something that's harder than it needs to be, a process that wastes time or material, a gap in what's available on the market.

02

Develop the solution

The idea gets worked through: how would it actually function? What are the edge cases? What does a manufacturable version look like? This is where most ideas get filtered out.

03

Document it properly

A concept that can't be communicated clearly can't be licensed or sold. Every invention gets a full brief — problem, solution, applications, and market opportunity.

04

Find the right partner

The right partner isn't just any company — it's one with the manufacturing capability, distribution reach, or market position to actually bring the concept to life.

Straight Talk

No track record yet — and that's worth saying.

Mitchell Innovations hasn't closed a licensing deal. No products on shelves, no royalty checks, no press releases. The portfolio is real and the ideas are developed — but this is the beginning of the commercial journey, not the middle.

That's stated upfront because the right partner deserves honesty. If you're looking for a proven inventor with a track record of commercialized IP, this may not be the right fit. If you're open to getting in early on original concepts with real potential — let's talk.
